Since 1999, Villages du Monde pour Enfants, a non-profit organization of public interest (SIREN No.: 424 580 777), has been working alongside the Sisters of Mary to help the poorest children around the world.
In the Philippines, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Honduras, and Tanzania, more than 20,000 of the poorest children in their countries are welcomed into the Villages by the Sisters of Mary. Aged 11 to 18, they are housed, cared for, fed, and nurtured. Most importantly, they receive a high-quality education on-site and benefit from vocational training that prepares them for a profession. These children can thus grow up healthy, thrive, and acquire the skills to build a bright future and escape poverty.
Ensuring that your donation enables children to break free from poverty as effectively as possible is our priority. Our mission is to invest in the major construction projects of the Sisters of Mary, and our challenge is to ensure the long-term sustainability of educational programs in increasingly complex social, economic, and environmental contexts.
The year 2022 was one of the most challenging in the history of Villages du Monde pour Enfants, and our social missions accounted for 64% of our expenses due to the search for new donors. In 2019, social missions accounted for 93% due to the use of reserves set aside for major construction projects in Honduras and Tanzania*.
Your donation will be allocated to all programs.
